Local Radio definition

Local Radio means the BBC’s domestic radio services for the British Isles intended for a specific local area or areas of a National Region (but for the avoidance of doubt excluding Broadcasts syndicated over more than five local radio regions which shall be deemed a Domestic Broadcast) and the expressions “Local Radio Service” and “Local Radio Broadcast” shall bear corresponding meanings.

Examples of Local Radio in a sentence

  • Drama and Entertainment programmes produced for Local Radio may be booked under terms outlined in paragraph 104 (one transmission engagement terms).

  • In the case of bad weather (i.e. Snow Storm) the employees are advised to listen to the Local Radio Station CHYR FM 96.7 for details of possible shift cancellations.

  • Local Radio Combo Package also includes service on standard palm microphones and single mobile controls heads, provided that they are required for normal operation of the two-way mobile and are included at the point of manufacture.

  • The conditions and rates set out in Section F above apply modified by this special arrangement for Local Radio.

  • Local Radio Support provides an operational check of Equipment that is specifically named in the applicable Agreement to which this Statement of Work is attached.

  • If the school has to be closed because of bad weather conditions, Local Radio and the NCC website at ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇ will be notified early on that morning.

  • The facility set out in Section H above is available to Local Radio for stations within any group of 4 stations as defined in 1.
