Local Self-Government definition

Local Self-Government. - shall mean the right and ability of local authorities as established by this law and within the limits thereof, to regulate and manage a substantial share of public affairs under their own responsibility and in the interest of the local population;
Local Self-Government means the local self government of the Participating Community which is responsible for provision of basic municipal services, and which delegates responsibility for provision of drinking water to CDWUUs, or any successor thereto.
Local Self-Government means the lowest unit of government in the Borrower, established under the Organic Law of Georgia on Local Self-Governments and Governance dated October 16, 1997.
