Locked unit definition

Locked unit means a ward, wing or room which is desig- nated as a protective environment and is secured in a manner that prevents a resident from leaving the unit at will. A physical restraint applied to the body is not a locked unit. A facility locked for purposes of security is not a locked unit, provided that resi- dents may exit at will.
Locked unit means a ward or wing designated as a pro- tective environment in which treatment and services are provided and which is secured by means of a key lock in a manner that pre- vents residents from leaving the unit at will.   • Euro Unit means the currency unit of the Euro.
