Machinery Breakdown definition

Machinery Breakdown means a sudden and accidental breakdown of an Object, or part thereof, that necessitates repair or replacement of the Object or part thereof.
Machinery Breakdown means unforeseen and sudden destruction or damage to any plant and machinery at the Demised Premises resulting from breakdown including destruction or damage caused by explosion due to force of internal steam gas or fluid pressure from any accidental cause while such plant and machinery is at work;
Machinery Breakdown means Accidental Damage causing the actual breaking or burning out of any part of a machine necessitating repair or replacement before normal working can be resumed including (but not limited to) Damage directly resulting from:

  • Coverage: Shall insure against loss of revenue due to loss of capacity and/or loss of output as a direct consequence of loss or damage to the Facility caused by a peril insured under Machinery Breakdown insurance.

  • A sub-limit representing the new replacement value of machinery and plant may apply for Machinery Breakdown.
