Machinery Breakdown definition

Machinery Breakdown means a sudden and accidental breakdown of an Object, or part thereof, that necessitates repair or replacement of the Object or part thereof.
Machinery Breakdown means unforeseen and sudden destruction or damage to any plant and machinery at the Demised Premises resulting from breakdown including destruction or damage caused by explosion due to force of internal steam gas or fluid pressure from any accidental cause while such plant and machinery is at work;
Machinery Breakdown means a probable event that consists in failure/breakdown or loss of insured machinery (parts of insured machinery) as a result of impact of internal or external factors on them, which is sudden and unforeseeable for the Insured/Beneficiary, including defects in cast and materials, design, manufacturing and installation errors, servicing errors, negligence of maintenance staff, shortage of water in boilers, physical explosion, rupture as a result of impact of centrifugal forces, short circuit, storm, frost, ice drift and other reasons (except for the below exclusions), upon occurrence of which the Insured/Beneficiary may incur unpredictable costs of restoration or replacement of the failed/lost machine. Unless otherwise provided by the Insurance Contract, the following shall not be regarded as machinery failure/breakdown: - soft failures; - degradation failures; - resource failures; - failures eliminated by adjustment or fine-tuning and also by software re-installation or replacement.

  • Coverage: Shall insure against loss of revenue due to loss of capacity and/or loss of output as a direct consequence of loss or damage to the Facility caused by a peril insured under Machinery Breakdown insurance.

  • The liability of the Company in respect of any one loss or series of losses arising out of any one occurrence shall not exceed: a the amount or amounts specified in Section 1: Material Damage and Machinery Breakdown in the Schedule, as the Limit of Liability; or b any other applicable limit of liability under this Policy.

  • This Section indemnifies the Insured in the event of Material Damage to or Machinery Breakdown of Insured Property, occurring during the period of insurance.

  • Material Damage Physical loss or destruction of or damage (other than Machinery Breakdown), from a peril or occurrence not excluded herein.

  • The amount or amounts specified in Section 1: Material Damage and Machinery Breakdown in the Schedule, as the Limit of Liability shall be automatically reinstated from the date of occurrence of any claim provided that the Insured agrees to pay a pro rata additional premium for such reinstatement.

  • Breakdown /“breaks down”/“broken down” means an event during the policy period, that stops the vehicle from being driven because of a mechanical or electrical failure including as a result of battery failure, running out of fuel, flat tyres, but not as a result of a mis-fuel, road traffic collision, fire, flood, theft, acts of vandalism, any driver induced fault, or any key related issue other than keys locked in your vehicle;

  • Machinery means any article or combination of articles assembled, arranged or connected and which is used or intended to be used for converting any form of energy to performing work, or which is used or intended to be used, whether incidental thereto or not, for developing, receiving, storing, containing, confining, transforming, transmitting, transferring or controlling any form of energy;

  • Farm machinery means all machines and tools that are used in the production, harvesting, and care of farm products, and includes trailers that are used to transport agricultural produce or agricultural production materials between a local place of storage or supply and the farm, agricultural tractors, threshing machinery, hay-baling machinery, corn shellers, hammermills, and machinery used in the production of horticultural, agricultural, and vegetable products.

  • Lockdown means the period between 23H59 on 26 March 2020, until 23H59 on 30 April 2020;

  • Contractor’s Equipment means all apparatus, machinery, vehicles and other things required for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects. However, Contractor’s Equipment excludes Temporary Works, Employer’s Equipment (if any), Plant, Materials and any other things intended to form or forming part of the Equipment.

  • Engines means, as of any date of determination, all Engines then leased hereunder.

  • Fabrication means making up data or results and recording or reporting them.

  • Supplier Equipment means the Supplier's hardware, computer and telecoms devices, equipment, plant, materials and such other items supplied and used by the Supplier (but not hired, leased or loaned from the Customer) in the performance of its obligations under this Call Off Contract;
