Main Activity definition

Main Activity means the principal commercial activity of a Signatory. For the avoidance of doubt, a Signatory is not precluded from undertaking more than one activity (as set out in Section 5.1 of the Voluntary Agreement), but it may only declare itself to have one Main Activity for the purposes of this Voluntary Agreement.
Main Activity means an activity that uti- lizes more than 50 percent of the total square feet at a worksite or more than 50 percent of the total number of employees at a worksite.
Main Activity means the activity through which the establishment fulfils its purpose of producing or distributing goods or services.

Examples of Main Activity in a sentence

  • Information supplied by a Signatory will be determined by its Main Activity (as categorised in Annex G).

  • Each Signatory may not perform more than one Main Activity under this Voluntary Agreement.

  • Activities other than Main Activity, against which percentage of appropriation of performance security has not been assigned, will be monitored for the purpose of early development of mines.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, each Signatory may not perform more than one Main Activity under this Code.

  • The Signatory shall indicate one Main Activity (CSTB Manufacturer, Service Provider, Component Manufacturer, Conditional Access Provider, Software Provider) in its signing form that corresponds to the commitments undertaken by becoming a Signatory to the Voluntary Agreement.

  • The training sessions have been overwhelmingly well-received by all participants (see section 1D: Progress by Intervention Area – IR 2 – Main Activity 2, above).

  • The “laminated picture cards”, described in detail in section 1D, IR1, Main Activity 1 & 2, as well as section 1E, are 8 ½ x 11 sheets, with whole-page illustrations of different health situations, which come in packages based on a theme: danger signs in the newborn, danger signs during pregnancy, birth plan, pregnancy care and newborn care.

Related to Main Activity

  • licensed activity means any activity or activities listed in section 21 of the 2010 Act which is, or are authorised under the licence;

  • FTR Net Activity means the aggregate net value of the billing line items for auction revenue rights credits, FTR auction charges, FTR auction credits, and FTR congestion credits, and shall also include day-ahead and balancing/real-time congestion charges up to a maximum net value of the sum of the foregoing auction revenue rights credits, FTR auction charges, FTR auction credits and FTR congestion credits.

  • Program or activity means what it means under title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (see 42 U.S.C. 2000d-4a).

  • Outside Activity means any private practice, private consulting, additional teaching or research, or other activity, compensated or uncompensated, which is not part of the employee's assigned duties and for which the University has provided no compensation.

  • Economic activity means putting goods or services on a market. It is not necessary to make a profit to be engaged in economic activity: if others in the market offer the same good or service, it is an economic activity.
