Major District Roads definition
Major District Roads means the roads notified as such by the Government of Punjab from time to time;
Major District Roads and “MDRs” each means roads interconnecting major towns and economic centers in a district in the State of Meghalaya.
Major District Roads means the important roads within a district of a State notified as such by the State Government;

The scope of Project 1 road improvement component includes strengthening and reconstruction of selected sections of State Highways (SH), Major District Roads (MDR) and Other District Roads (ODR).
These include 109.01 km of State Highways, 67.49 km of Major District Roads (MDRs), 542.44 km of Other District Roads (ODRs) and 204148 km of Rural Roads.
