Mandatory Local Calling Scope definition

Mandatory Local Calling Scope is an arrangement that provides end users a local calling scope, and Extended Area Service (EAS) or Extended Community Calling (ECC) beyond their basic exchange service area.
Mandatory Local Calling Scope is an arrangement that requires end users to subscribe to a local calling scope beyond their basic exchange serving area. In no event shall the Local Traffic area for purposes of local call termination billing between the Parties be decreased during the term of this Agreement.

  • An NXX assigned to USCC shall be included in any Mandatory Local Calling Scope or similar program to the same extent as any other NXX maintained by other landline carriers with the same rate points.

  • An NXX assigned to SPRINT shall be included in any Mandatory Local Calling Scope or similar program to the same extent as any other NXX in the same Rate Center.

  • The Parties agree that the exchange of traffic on XXXXXX’x Mandatory Local Calling Scope routes shall be considered Subject Traffic and compensation for the Termination of such traffic shall be paid pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.

  • CTCI will provide dialing parity to ALLTEL’s NPA-NXX’s in CTCI’s Mandatory Local Calling Scope, in accordance with the requirements of Section 251(b)(3) of the Act.

  • WWTC will provide dialing parity to ALLTEL’s NPA-NXX’s in WWTC’s Mandatory Local Calling Scope, in accordance with the requirements of Section 251(b)(3) of the Act.

  • In the event that TCCC and ACC establish a Type-2B direct Interconnection, the Type-2B Interconnection shall be used by TCCC to deliver Telecommunications Traffic to designated NPA-NXXs of ACC for which the associated Rate Center (as determined by Vertical and Horizontal (V&H) coordinates) is within the Mandatory Local Calling Scope of the TCCC end users, or which are otherwise agreed to by the Parties, all of which are listed in Appendix C and Appendix D.

  • Optional Extended Local Calling Scope Arrangement Traffic is traffic that under an optional Extended Local Calling Scope Arrangement chosen by the Customer terminates outside of the Customer’s basic exchange serving area.

  • Local Calling Area is a geographically defined area as established by the effective tariffs of CenturyLink as approved by the Commission.

  • Local Calls for purposes of intercarrier compensation, is traffic where all calls are within the same common local and common mandatory local calling area, i.e., within the same or different SBC Exchange(s) that participate in the same common local mandatory local calling area approved by the applicable state Commission. Local Calls must actually originate and actually terminate to parties physically located within the same common local or common mandatory local calling area.

  • Prepaid calling service means the right to access exclusively telecommunications services, which must be paid for in advance and which enables the origination of calls using an access number or authorization code, whether manually or electronically dialed, and that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other non-telecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Custom Calling Features means a set of Telecommunications Service features available to residential and single-line business customers including call-waiting, call-forwarding and three-party calling.

  • payment initiation service means a service to initiate a payment order at the request of the payment service user with respect to a payment account held at another payment service provider;

  • Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

  • Service Level Agreement (SLA) means the Contractual Commitment that prevails between the Buyer and the Service Provider with regard to type of service to be provided, deliverables, desired performance level, reliability and responsiveness, monitoring process and service level reporting, response and issue resolution time-frame, repercussions / penalties / remedies for service provider not meeting its commitment. The SLA of a particular contract may carry the matrix regarding the delivery of the goods and/or services and the corresponding penalties or remedies and liquidated damages as applicable.
