Maritime Education definition

Maritime Education means marine studies training provided by EMTI.
Maritime Education means marine studies training provided by EMTI or its cooperating partner as provided in the Enrollment Agreement. “Seafarer” shall mean the student whose name appears on the first page of this Agreement. “PredictiveAssessments” shall mean Psychological Examinations and Reliability Examinations. “Psychological Examinations” include any examinations utilized by EMTI to determine suitability of a Seafarer to be employed for service at sea. “Reliability Examinations” include examinations utilized by EMTI to support security scrutiny, በአንድነትና በነጠላ ሃላፊነት ኢ.ማ.ማ.ተ መርከበኛውን ለማሰልጠን የሚያወጣውን ውጪ ለመተካት የዋስትና ግዴታ ለመግባት የተስማሙ በመሆኑ ይህ ውል ከዚህ በታች በተመለከቱት ዝርዝር ድንጋጌዎች መሰረት ተደርጓል፡፡ አንቀጽ አንድ ትርጓሜ “የቅበላ ስምምነት” ማለት የማሪታይም ትምህርትና ሙያ መበልፀግ ቅበላ ለመስጠት including but not limited to periodic polygraph examinations. Such examinations shall be utilized with the aim to protect both the safety of Seafarers and the interests of shipping companies, maintain the reputation of EMTI Graduates in the maritime industry, and minimize the possibility of Seafarer desertion.
Maritime Education means the use of the ships sailing and voyages to advance the knowledge of maritime skills such as, but not limited to, sail handling and theory, sailmaking, rigging, ship and boat handling, team building, character development, cultural history and related subjects.

Examples of Maritime Education in a sentence

  • The Academy shall submit the training voyage itinerary of the Training Ship including a listing of foreign ports to be visited, for approval of the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training or designee at least sixty (60) days in advance of the date such voyage is scheduled to begin.

  • The Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training has delegated some of the Supervisor’s specific functions to other Administration officials as set forth above.

  • Pending the decision of the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training of a dispute hereunder, the Academy shall proceed diligently with performance of the Agreement in accordance with the decision of the respective Director.

  • The parties recognize and understand that personnel at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy who are detailed to such Academy by the President of the United States pursuant to the provisions of the Maritime Education and Training Act of 1980 or otherwise, and military personnel assigned by the government of the United States to teach any ROTC programs at a State University, are not members of the bargaining unit.

  • The Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training or designee shall arrange with the Department of State for diplomatic clearance of the Training Ship to visit foreign ports.

  • Actions taken or requested by foreign officials inconsistent with the sovereign immune status of the Training Ship shall be reported as soon as possible to the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training and/or designee and to appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate officials.

  • Termination notices under Article 12 shall be delivered to the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training (MAR- 600.3).

  • The Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training shall reduce his or her decision to writing and mail or otherwise furnish a copy thereof to the Academy.

  • The Academy agrees to submit any request for ancillary use of the Vessel to the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training and/or designee as far in advance as possible.

  • With respect to the decisions set forth above for the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training, the Administration covenants, represents, warrants, and agrees that such authority to make decisions under this Agreement for the Administration has been delegated to the Deputy Associate Administrator and National Coordinator for Maritime Education and Training, MAR-600.3, Second Floor, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇.
