Maximum rated horsepower definition

Maximum rated horsepower means the maximum brake horsepower output of an engine as stated by the manufacturer in his sales and service literature and his application for certification under Section 8.

Maximum rated horsepower means an engine’s maximum horsepower at ISO or manufacturer’s standard conditions and maximum RPM, or an engine’s maximum horsepower at engine site conditions and maximum RPM.
