Maximum sound level definition

Maximum sound level means the maximum sound level measured by a sound level meter on the “fast” or “impulse” setting.
Maximum sound level means the highest sound level reached when measuring noise with a sound level meter using the A-weighted network and slow time weighting. The "maximum sound level" is equivalent to the industry standard known as LMAX.
Maximum sound level means the maximum noise level outside the plant, which occurs at any time during the measurement. It is measured as dB(A).
