Measurement Book definition

Measurement Book or “MB” shall mean the record maintained for the purpose of recording the progressive volumes of excavation of overburden and lignite and duly signed and verified by the Engineer- in- Charge or his representative and countersigned by the contractor or his authorised representative.

Examples of Measurement Book in a sentence

  • If the Contractor objects to any of the measurements, a note to that effect shall be made in the Measurement Book /Log Book and signed and dated by both the parties.

  • All measurements shall be entered in a Measurement Book maintained by the Company at site and signed both by the Company’s Authorized Representative and the Subcontractor / PRW as a token of acceptance.

  • All measurements of items having financial value shall be entered in Measurement Book and/or level field book so that complete records are obtained of all works performed under the contract.

  • JTO (E), SDE (E) and EE (E) shall record the necessary certificates for their checks and test checks as per the existing procedure in this Computerized Measurement Book.

  • These will be entered in Measurement Book and signed by both the parties.
