mechanical excavation definition

mechanical excavation means any ground disturbance that is undertaken other than by hand digging or other means approved by the corporation or a subsidiary, but does not include a ground disturbance undertaken for the purpose of cultivation;
mechanical excavation means the use of a device other than a hydraulic pipeline dredge, such as a clamshell, dragline, hydro-hoe, or similar equipment, to remove material from the bed of a lake.

  • Excavation means the mechanical removal of earth material.
