Media Activities definition

Media Activities means Media Communication and/or the gathering, collection or recording of Media Material for inclusion in any Media Communication in the ordinary course of the Named Insured’s business.
Media Activities means media interviews with television, radio, print or multi-media journalists, in particular whilst the Player is assembled with the BLACKCAPS, a New Zealand Team or the Major Association Team but also, from time to time, outside of this time but within the term of this Playing Agreement.
Media Activities means the display of Media Material on the Insured Organization’s web site.

  • The Retention amount set forth in Item 4.C. of the Declarations applies separately with respect to each Claim for one or more of the acts listed in Insuring Agreement I.D. in the course of the Insured Organization’s performance of any Covered Media Activities, including Claims Expenses.

Media Activities means, in connection with the Covered Media, any actual or alleged act, error, or omission committed in the course of, or arising out of:
Media Activities means the display of Media Material on the
Media Activities means creating, displaying, broadcasting, disseminating or releasing Media Material by or on behalf of the Insured Organization to the public, including any blog, webcasts, websites, broadcast or cable stations, or social media web pages, created and maintained by or on behalf of the Insured Organization. Media Material means any information, including words, sounds, numbers, images or graphics, but will not include computer software or the actual goods, products or services described, illustrated or displayed in such Media Material. Media Wrongful Act means one or more of the following acts committed on or after the Retroactive Date and before the end of the Policy Period in the course of the Insured Organization’s performance of Media Activities, Professional Services or Tech Services: 1. defamation, libel, slander, product disparagement, trade libel, infliction of emotional distress, outrage, outrageous conduct, or other tort related to disparagement or harm to the reputation or character of any person or organization;
Media Activities means Media Communications and/or the gathering, collection or recording of Media Material for inclusion in any Media Communication in the ordinary course of the Insured Organization’s business.
Media Activities means one or more of the following acts actually or allegedly committed by, or on behalf of the Indemnified Organization in the course of creating, disseminating, displaying or releasing of Media Material to the public: 1. defamation, slander, libel, disparagement, trade libel, prima facie tort, infliction of emotional distress or mental anguish, outrage, outrageous conduct or other tort related to disparagement or harm to the reputation or character of any product, person or organization; 2. a violation of any right to privacy including false light, intrusion upon seclusion, public disclosure of private facts; or a violation of right of publicity; or any claim of trespass, wrongful entry or wrongful eviction; 3. invasion of or interference with of any name, likeness, voice or persona for commercial advantage; 4. misappropriation of any trade secret; 5. false arrest, detention, or imprisonment; 6. plagiarism, piracy or misappropriation of ideas under any implied contract; 7. infringement of copyright, trade dress, domain name including improper framing or deep-linking, title or slogan, or the dilution or infringement of trade name, trademark or service mark; 8. unfair competition; or 9. negligence regarding any Media Material, including the harm caused through reliance or failure to rely upon such Media Material.
Media Activities means, in connection with the Covered Media, any actual or alleged act, error, or omission committed in the course of, or arising out of: 1. The gathering, recording or collection of Matter for inclusion in the Covered Media, including but not limited to any actual or alleged: a. Invasion or infringement of the right of privacy or publicity, including the torts of intrusion upon seclusion, publication of private facts, false light, or misappropriation of name or likeness; b. Outrage, infliction of emotional distress or prima facie tort; c. False arrest, detention or imprisonment; d. Trespass, wrongful entry or eviction, eavesdropping, or other invasion of the right of private occupancy; or e. Copyright infringement, plagiarism, or misappropriation of property rights, information or ideas; or 2. The publication, dissemination or release of Matter in the Covered Media, by any form, method or medium of communication, including but not limited to any actual or alleged: a. Libel, slander or any other form of defamation or harm to the character or reputation of any person or entity; b. Invasion or infringement of the right of privacy or publicity, including the torts of intrusion upon seclusion, publication of private facts, false light, or misappropriation of name or likeness; c. Outrage, infliction of emotional distress or prima facie tort; d. Product disparagement, trade libel, dilution or infringement of title, slogan, trademark, trade name, Service mark, or service name; e. Copyright infringement, plagiarism, or misappropriation of property rights, information or ideas; or f. Negligence in connection with the content of Matter, including but not limited to any Claim alleging harm to a person or entity who acted or failed to act in reliance upon such Matter; 3. The publication, dissemination or release of Matter by any party with whom the Insured has entered into a written, oral or implied-in-fact indemnification or hold harmless agreement regarding Claims arising out of the publication, dissemination or release of such Matter.
Media Activities means the publishing, dissemination, releasing, gathering, transmission, production, webcasting, or other distribution of Media Content.
