Medical Allowance definition

Medical Allowance means a fixed amount of money paid to the employees by corporation as part of their total salary to pay for the annual health insurance needs (both out patient and in-patient) as specified by the corporation.
Medical Allowance means the monthly payment to contribute to health insurance. This shall be paid monthly. The Medical Allowance shall be $200 per month for the first year, $250 per month for the second year, and $300 per month for the option year.
Medical Allowance means a monthly allowance paid to a University employee towards treatment of self and his/her family.

Examples of Medical Allowance in a sentence

  • The components are as follows: House Rent Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance, Medical Allowance, Transport Allowance and Telephonic Allowance.

  • All employees of the GoN and other officials who are employees of Public Sector Undertakings, Corporations and Autonomous Bodies entitled for Monthly Medical Allowance and Medical Re- imbursement scheme, and serving Parliamentarians/Legislators.

  • The Medical Allowance will be made available through the Cafeteria Plan.

  • The excess of the Medical Allowance remaining after purchase of mandatory health coverage through PEMHCA, if any, may NOT be allocated toward the purchase of other Cafeteria Plan benefits and may NOT be taken as a taxable cash payment.

  • The maximum benefit period is 180 days and the charges are limited to the difference between the Provincial Medical Allowance and the institution’s semi private room charge.

  • If a Member enrolls in a health plan that costs more than the Medical Allowance, he or she will be responsible for payment of any premium in excess of the Medical Allowance.

  • The Patriot Retiree Medical Program shall not recognize the PEC Group service of any Patriot Employee or Subsequent Patriot Employee who earned a benefit under the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance in such a manner that such service recognition would result in duplication of the retiree medical allowance benefits earned under the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance.

  • Patriot Employees who are eligible to participate in the Patriot Retiree Medical Program and are not eligible for a retiree medical allowance under the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance as of the Distribution Date or their later date of separation from service with the PEC Group will receive credit under the Patriot Retiree Medical Program for all of their service with the Patriot Group and the PEC Group.

  • Any rights such Patriot Employees accrued under the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance before the Distribution Date and rights such Subsequent Patriot Employees accrued under the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance before their date of separation from service with the PEC Group shall remain with the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance and shall be governed by the terms and conditions of the PEC Retiree Medical Allowance arrangement.
