Membership capital definition

Membership capital means the funds of a cooperative association derived from members of the cooperative association generally as a requirement of membership or in lieu of patronage dividends. The term does not include deposits or loans from members.
Membership capital means that capital paid to a nonstock association by a member in order to be a member and have the rights of membership in the association.
Membership capital means those funds of the association derived from the members generally either as a requirement of membership or in lieu of patronage dividends. Deposits and loans from members shall not be construed as "membership capital."
