Minimum Work definition

Minimum Work or “Minimum Work Programme” means the minimum work programme referred to in Article 3 in respect of the initial term of the Licence or any renewal thereof.
Minimum Work means the Substantial Completion of Landlord’s Work; (B) the termPenalty Date” shall mean June 1, 2014, subject to day-for-day postponement on account of Tenant Delays and Force Majeure Delays; and (C) the term “Force Majeure Delays” shall mean and refer to a period of delay or delays encountered affecting all construction work of Landlord’s Work because of: natural disaster, earthquake, floods or other acts of God; fire, explosion, extraordinary adverse weather conditions; acts of Government which generally affects the construction industry in the City of Mountain View (including building moratoria but excluding permit review); or inability to procure or a general shortage of labor, equipment, facilities, energy, materials or supplies in the open market, failure of transportation, strikes or lockouts beyond the control of Landlord which generally affects the construction industry in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Examples of Minimum Work in a sentence

  • Each time the Contractor does not submit a valid response, the Contractor agrees Canada may at its option decrease the Minimum Contract Value in the clause titled "Minimum Work Guarantee" by 2%.

  • If within the time periods prescribed in this Article 6.1 the Operating Committee is unable to agree on such a Work Program and Budget, then the proposal capable of satisfying the Minimum Work Obligations for the Calendar Year in question that receives the largest Participating Interest vote (even if less than the applicable percentage under Article 5.9) shall be deemed adopted as part of the annual Work Program and Budget.

  • Any portion of a Work Program and Budget adopted pursuant to this Article 6.1(D) instead of Article 5.9 shall contain only such operations for the Joint Account as are necessary to maintain the Contract in full force and effect, including such operations as are necessary to fulfill the Minimum Work Obligations required for the given Calendar Year.

Related to Minimum Work

  • Minimum Improvements means devoting the Development Property to its intended Use and construction of approximately a square foot parking facility for use as parking for the Developer as identified and set forth in Exhibit C and constructed in accordance with the Construction Plans submitted to and approved by the Authority. After completion of the Minimum Improvements, the term shall mean the Development Property as improved by the Minimum Improvements.

  • Minimum Hourly Work Requirement means the work hours over a given time period that are required of you by your Employer in order to be eligible for coverage. Your Minimum Hourly Work Requirement is specified in the Schedule of Benefits.

  • Minimum Price shall have the meaning specified in Section 7.1(d).

  • Minimum wage means wages as defined under the Minimum Wages Act-1948 and amended from time to time.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Major Work means any Work to Construct or Maintain the Distribution System that costs more than One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars;

  • Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • Normal weekly hours of work means the established standard work times and number of hours in the workweek for the position or, if standard work times and number of hours have not been established for the position, the work times and average number of hours per week actually worked by the employee in that position over the most recent 3 months before the employer files the application for designation as a participating employer.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Quality Improvement means a focus on activities to improve performance above minimum standards and reasonably expected levels of performance, quality and practice.

  • piece-work means any system by which earnings are calculated upon the quantity or output of work performed;

  • Improvement warranty period means a period:

  • tidal work means so much of any work authorised by this Order as is on, under or over tidal waters or tidal lands below the level of high water;

  • New Work means any Services/Deliverables outside the scope of the Contract and not specifically provided under any Statement of Work, that once added will result in the need to provide the Contractor with additional consideration.

  • Minimum Hire Period means the Minimum Hire Period as described on the invoices, quotation, authority to hire, or any other forms as provided by the Supplier to the Client.
