Mobile Number Portability (MNP) definition

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) means a service enabling mobile subscribers (whether prepaid or post-paid) to change their provider of Mobile Telecommunications Service and to retain the same telephone number.
Mobile Number Portability (MNP) means changing of a Network service provider by the customer while retaining his or her MSIN either port in our network and registered in M-PESA or port out in our network and removed from M-PESA System.
Mobile Number Portability (MNP) has the meaning given to it by the Mobile Number Portability Industry Code registered by the ACMA under Part 6 of the Act. Mobile Premium Service, MPS means a Premium SMS and MMS services or a Proprietary Network Service.

  • The system should provide a standalone (independent from the Host MNO) solution for the management of the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) requests and incidences concerning the MVNO’s hosted by VEE.

  • In consideration of the payment of Licence fee, and due performance of all the terms and conditions mentioned in this Licence agreement on the part of the LICENSEE, the LICENSOR does, hereby grant under Section.4 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 to set up and operate the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Service in the licensed MNP service zone as described in SCHEDULE appended hereto.
