Mortgage servicing assets means those assets (net of any related valu- ation allowances) that result from con- tracts to service loans secured by real estate (that have been securitized or are owned by others) for which the ben- efits of servicing are expected to more than adequately compensate the servicer for performing the servicing. For purposes of determining regulatory capital under this part, mortgage serv- icing assets will be recognized only to the extent that the assets meet the conditions, limitations, and restric- tions described in § 325.5 (f).
