Most Responsible Provider (MRP) means the physician or nurse practitioner on record as responsible for the patient’s care
Most Responsible Provider (MRP) means the most responsible Health Care Provider such as the physician, dentist, midwife, nurse, nurse practitioner, paramedic or other Health Care Provider who initiates Health Care and is best able to provide information that will allow the Patient to understand fully all aspects of the Health Care decision. This individual is accountable for coordinating and overseeing the care of the Patient for a specified procedure or course of Health Care. The Most Responsible Provider is usually the attending physician.
