Multisource generic drug definition
Multisource generic drug means any covered outpatient prescription drug for which there is at least one other drug product that is rated as therapeutically equivalent under the food and drug administration's most recent publication of "Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence Evaluations;" is pharmaceutically equivalent or bioequivalent, as determined by the food and drug administration; and is sold or marketed in the state during the period.
Multisource generic drug. A Generic Product for which there is at least one (1) other Drug Product and does not include a Brand Name Drug. Overpayment: A payment by MC-Rx to a Pharmacy that is greater than the rate or terms specified in this Agreement at the time that the payment is made. Pharmacy: Pharmacy or a physician that provides Services acting either as, but not limited to, a single (independent) or multiple (chain) entity that has entered into this Agreement with MC-Rx.
