Municipal Pension Plan definition

Municipal Pension Plan means the plan provided for under the former Act which, pursuant to section 2 of Schedule B to the Act, was continued under Schedule B to the Act and the regulations made pursuant to subsection 16(1) of Schedule B, and which is further continued under the Municipal Pension Plan Joint Trust Agreement;
Municipal Pension Plan means the pension plan which was continued under Schedule B of the Act;

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, new regular part-time employees who are hired may, at the time of hiring, decline being covered by the Municipal Pension Plan for the period of their regular part-time employment.

  • Pension contributions will cease during the period of the leave unless the employee makes arrangements prior to commencing the leave to pay the contributions pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Pension Plan.

  • Contributions made by the City and the employee shall be made on the basis of the new hours worked and are subject to the requirements of the Municipal Pension Plan.
