Narcotic substance definition

Narcotic substance means any of the following, whether produced directly or indirectly by extraction from substances of vegetable origin, or independently by means of chemical synthesis, or by a combination of extraction and chemical synthesis:
Narcotic substance means any prohibited drug referred to in the Drugs and Allied Substances Control Act [Chapter 15:03] or any dangerous drug referred to in the Dangerous Drugs Act [Chapter 15:02];
Narcotic substance means a substance or thing the name of which is specified in column 1 of Schedule VI or any other substance or thing for the time being declared by the regulations to be a narcotic"substance.

  • Dangerous Substances means a substance or article described in regulation 3 of the Dangerous Substances Regulations;

  • Chemical substance means a substance intended to be used as a precursor in the manufacture of a controlled substance or any other chemical intended to be used in the manufacture of a controlled substance. Intent under this subsection may be demonstrated by the substance's use, quantity, manner of storage, or proximity to other precursors or to manufacturing equipment.
