national competent authority definition
national competent authority means any national competent authority as defined in Article 2(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013;
national competent authority means the national supervisory authority, the notifying authority and the market surveillance authority;
national competent authority means one or more entities designated by a Member State and having the necessary powers and allocated responsibilities for performing the tasks related to certification, oversight and enforcement in accordance with this Regulation and with the delegated and implementing acts adopted on the basis thereof, and with Regulation (EC) No 549/2004.

national competent authority means any of the following: the notifying authority and the market surveillance authority. As regards AI systems put into service or used by EU institutions, agencies, offices and bodies, the European Data Protection Supervisor shall fulfil the responsibilities that in the Member States are entrusted to the national competent authority and, as relevant, any reference to national competent authorities or market surveillance authorities in this Regulation shall be understood as referring to the European Data Protection Supervisor;
national competent authority means the entities as defined in point (34) of Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139;
national competent authority means one or more entities designated by a Member State and having the necessary powers and allocated responsibilities for performing the tasks related to certification, oversight and enforcement in accordance with this Regulation and the delegated and implementing acts adopted on the basis thereof. (34) ‘national competent authority’ means the entity designated by a Member State and accredited by the Agency having the necessary powers and allocated responsibilities for performing the tasks related to certification, oversight and enforcement in accordance with this Regulation, and the delegated and implementing acts adopted on the basis thereof, and Regulation (EU) No XXX/XXXX.
national competent authority or ‘NCA’ means the national authority, or authorities, designated by a Member State and having the necessary powers and allocated responsibilities for performing the tasks related to the authorisation and supervision of crowdfunding service providers within the scope of this Regulation.
