National of the United States definition

National of the United States means a person who, though not a citizen of the United States, owes permanent allegiance to the United States, as described in section 101(a)(22)(B) of the immigration and nationality act, 8 USC 1101.
National of the United States means (i) a citizen of the United States or (ii) a person who, though not a citizen of the United States, owes permanent allegiance to the United States.
