Natural Disaster Event definition

Natural Disaster Event means: Materiality threshold is defined as:
Natural Disaster Event means Any major fire, flood, earthquake or other natural disaster that occurs during the 2015-20 Access Arrangement Period and increases the costs to the Service Provider in providing the Reference Service, provided the fire, flood or other event was not a consequence of the acts or omissions of the Service Provider.
Natural Disaster Event means a cyclone, earthquake, flood, storm, storm tide, tsunami or other natural happening for which leave may be approved by the CEO.

  • Note: In assessing a Natural Disaster Event pass through application, the Regulator will have regard to, amongst other things: i whether AGN has insurance against the event; and ii the level of insurance that an efficient and prudent service provider would obtain in respect of the event.

More Definitions of Natural Disaster Event

Natural Disaster Event has the meaning given in clause 4.7.2. Party means either the Service Provider or the User and Parties means them collectively.

Related to Natural Disaster Event

  • Natural Disaster means a flood, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, mudslide, tsunami, avalanche, landslide, volcanic eruption, fire, wildfire or blizzard that is due to natural causes.

  • Catastrophic Event means a rare circumstance in which mass casualties and/or significant property damage has occurred or is imminent (e.g. September 11th, hurricanes, earthquakes greater than 6.1 on the Richter scale)

  • Major disaster means any natural catastrophe (including any hurricane, tornado, storm, high water, winddriven water, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, or drought), or, regardless of cause, any fire, flood, or explosion, in any part of the United States, which in the determination of the President causes damage of sufficient severity and magnitude to warrant major disaster assistance under this Act to supplement the efforts and available resources of States, local governments, and disaster relief organizations in alleviating the damage, loss, hardship, or suffering caused thereby.

  • Barrier Event means that R (final) is lower than the Barrier.

  • Natural radioactivity means radioactivity of naturally occurring nuclides.
