Net Credited Service definition

Net Credited Service as used in Schedule A shall mean the number of full academic semesters (excluding summer semesters or sessions) during which the teacher has been actively teaching and has been under contract to the Board, less deductions for leaves of absence, except for illness and disability, plus any time spent in the Armed Forces of the nation. For the purpose of establishing teacher salaries, full semesters of net credited service shall be computed as of the second Tuesday of July proceeding the academic year in which the salary is to be paid. Part-time teachers who work half time or more during the full school year shall accrue towards net credited service in the same manner as full-time teachers. Part-time teachers who work less than half time shall accrue net credited service on the basis of the actual percentage of time worked by said staff member.

Net Credited Service as used in this Agreement shall mean the current period of continuous employment with the Company, together with any other employment to the extent bridged, less all deductible periods of absence. The Company agrees that existing rules for determining net credited service will not be changed during the life of this Agreement in a manner that will diminish the net credited service of an employee.

Net Credited Service means an Employee Participant’s net credited service as defined in the BellSouth Corporation Personal Retirement Account Pension Plan under the terms of such plan in effect on the Effective Date, except that it shall include only the portion of an Employee Participant’s net credited service as is attributable to service with BellSouth, an Employer or any other corporation which is a member of the same controlled group of corporations, within the meaning of Code Section 414(b), as BellSouth and any trade or business (whether or not incorporated) which is under common control with BellSouth, within the meaning of Code Section 414(c).

Seniority, as used in this Agreement, is defined as Net Credited Service as determined by the Administrative Committee.

Net Credited Service. Net Credited Service shall mean “term of employment” as set forth in the AT&T Pension Plan.

Net Credited Service means your continuous service. For former Nortel employees who transferred to Avaya effective December 19, 2009, this service will also include all former Nortel service credited as of the transfer date.

Net Credited Service means the official record of your term of employment at Sandia.
