Net Heat Rate definition

Net Heat Rate means the Heat Rate established by periodic testing of the Units and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ Units as corrected with the Degradation Curve to Reference Conditions pursuant to Appendix B.
Net Heat Rate has the meaning set forth in Attachment T.
Net Heat Rate has the meaning set forth in Appendix E.

Examples of Net Heat Rate in a sentence

  • Within 15 days after the completion of the performance test, the Seller shall prepare and submit the the Department a written report of the test relavant to the Plant Net Heat Rate in the format and providing the relevant data as described in the above paragraph.

  • If Seller and Department both accept a test, the Plant Capacity and Plant Net Heat Rate shall be updated to reflect the results of such test effective upon the first day of the month following the month in which Department receives Seller’s test report.

  • This corrected fuel flow, the average of the resuls of the fuel testing laboratory samples for fuel heat content, and the Plant Capacity shall be used to calculate the Plant Net Heat Rate in Btu (HHV)/kw-hr.

  • If the results of the test indicate the Net Dependable Capacity is below 2% of the current level or that Net Heat Rate exceeds the Guaranteed Heat Rate, Buyer shall not pay for the cost of the test.

  • If any adjustment is necessary, the Actual Heat Rate Adjustment shall be effective retroactive to the date on which it was mutually determined that the Actual Heat Rate exceeded the Guaranteed Heat Rate and shall remain in effect until it is demonstrated by testing that the Net Heat Rate is less than the Guaranteed Heat Rate.

  • Thereafter at least once per Contract Year, Seller must conduct a test to determine the Net Dependable Capacity and Net Heat Rate.

  • This test procedure and the calculations employed are intended to determine the Net Dependable Capacity and Net Heat Rate as shown on the Heat Rate Boundary Diagram.

  • Any test to determine the Net Dependable Capacity and Net Heat Rate shall include a period of two hours during which the Net Dependable Capacity is generated and the Electric Energy delivered to the Point of Delivery.


More Definitions of Net Heat Rate

Net Heat Rate means the Net Electrical Output divided by the total fuel consumed to produce the Net Electrical Output, expressed in MMBtu per MWh.
Net Heat Rate with respect to the Facility, has the meaning detailed in Clause 6 of this Appendix 4.
Net Heat Rate means gross heat input to the steam generator divided by the sum of generator output minus generator transformer losses and auxiliary power usage.
Net Heat Rate means the Corrected Fuel Consumption divided by the Net Power Output measured over a specified period of time in Btu HHV per kilowatt hour.
