New Investment Projects definition

New Investment Projects means projects for the Generation Facilities relating to the planning, design, licensing, acquisition, construction, completion, renewal, improvement, addition, repair, replacement or enlargement of any Unit of Property (as described in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's "Units of Property for Use in Accounting for Additions and Retirements of Electric Plants"), under circumstances where expenditures on or for such projects are to be capitalized in accordance with the Electric Plant Instructions of the Uniform System of Accounts prescribed for Class A and B utilities by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
