Non-Processible Waste definition

Non-Processible Waste means Acceptable Solid Waste that cannot be processed at the Facility without the use of supplemental processing equipment (e.g., a mobile shredder), provided that the individual items of such Acceptable Solid Waste are 2,000 pounds or less in weight and physically of such size as to fit without compaction into an area having dimensions of three (3) feet by five (5) feet by five (5) feet, including, but not limited to, the following:
Non-Processible Waste means solid waste that cannot be processed at a processing facility due to the physical characteristics of the solid waste or potential harmful effects to the processing facility.
Non-Processible Waste means Acceptable Solid Waste that cannot be processed at the Facility without the use of supplemental processing equipment (e.g., a mobile shredder), provided that the individual items of such Acceptable Solid Waste are 2,000 pounds or less in weight and physically of such size as to fit without compaction into an area having dimensions of three (3) feet by five (5) feet by five (5) feet, including, but not limited to, the following: (1) Household furniture, chairs, tables, sofas, mattresses, appliances, carpets, sleeper sofas and rugs; (2) Individual items such as White Metals (as hereinafter defined) and blocks of metal that would, in MIRA’s sole discretion and determination, cause damage to the Waste Facilities if processed and/or incinerated therein; (3) Scrap/Light Weight Metals (as hereinafter defined); (4) Bathroom fixtures, such as toilets, bathtubs and sinks; (5) Purged and emptied propane, butane and acetylene tanks with valves removed exclusively from the residential Solid Waste stream and in limited quantities, if any, to be determined by MIRA on a day-to-day basis; (6) Christmas trees; (7) Automobile tires with/without rims, and (8) Any other Acceptable Solid Waste deemed by MIRA in its sole discretion to be Non-Processible Waste.

Examples of Non-Processible Waste in a sentence

  • Full loads rejected shall be charged a sum equal to the OWEF Tipping Fee and the Landfill Tipping Fee for each ton of waste rejected for being Non-Processible Waste.

  • Minimal amounts of Non-Processible Waste shall not necessitate the rejection of an entire loaded container at the Transfer Station.

  • A) Weighing at the OWEF – Olmsted County agrees to maintain at the OWEF a certified truck weighing scale for the purpose of weighing Processible and Non-Processible Waste delivered from Dodge County to the OWEF.

  • The Non-Processible Waste received at seven of the transfer stations is loaded into non-SPSA trailers by SPSA staff and hauled to a non-SPSA landfill by Wheelabrator.

  • If, in the judgment of the transfer vehicle driver or transfer station operator, the waste container contains quantities of Non-Processible Waste, which would negatively affect the operation of the OWEF, the container shall be delivered to the bypass landfill for disposal.

  • B) Non-Processible Waste at the OWEF – Waste delivered to the OWEF may be rejected by Olmsted County if it is Non-Processible Waste.

  • To the extent that minimal amounts of Non-Processible Waste normally occur in the solid waste stream such minimal amounts shall not be viewed as Non- Processible Waste within the parameters of such definitions as set forth in this Agreement.

  • Dodge County agrees to advise, notify, and educate persons hauling waste within its jurisdiction of the distinctions between Processible and Non-Processible Waste.

  • Dodge County shall also be responsible for removing Non-Processible Waste from loaded containers at the Transfer Station.

  • SPSA’s transfer station staff sorts the solid waste received into Processible Waste and Non-Processible Waste at five of its transfer stations.


More Definitions of Non-Processible Waste

Non-Processible Waste means any material that is not Acceptable Solid Waste or Hazardous Material, including but not limited to, bulky waste, white goods, scrap metal, yard waste and leaves, street sweepings, agricultural waste, metal containers, glass containers, mandated recyclable materials, and batteries, major motor vehicle parts including tires, agricultural and farm machinery and equipment and major parts thereof, marine vessels and major parts thereof, any other large machinery or equipment (including thick walled or solid metallic objects such as castings, forgings, gas cylinders, steel drums, closed metal containers, barrels and buckets), large motors, solid blocks of rubber or plastic, rolls of carpet of fencing, steel or nylon rope, chains, cables or slings, logs and stumps, and construction materials and demolition debris (including masonry, stone, structural steel, re-bar and structural shapes.
Non-Processible Waste means non-processible waste as defined in the Operations and Management Plan, which is incorporated herein by reference.
Non-Processible Waste means (a) Hazardous Material; (b) dirt, concrete and other construction material and demolition debris; (c) refrigerators, washing machines, large appliances and similar material (“White Goods”); (d) large items of machinery, equipment and mechanical parts, such as motor vehicles and major components thereof, agricultural equipment, trailers and marine vessels, or any other large item of Waste; (e) sludge, sewage, Wastewater and septic, cesspool, human, animal, offal and liquid Waste; (f) incinerator residue, ashes, foundry sands, and large concentrations of plastics disposed of as Wastes; (g) oil, paints, acids, caustics, poisons, asbestos, chemicals, highly ignitable substances, explosives and ordnance materials; and (h) any other materials the receipt and combustion of which is likely to cause damage to or otherwise materially and adversely affect the operation of the Facility, constitute a material threat to health or safety, or violate or cause the violation of any Applicable Law or any Governmental Approval.
Non-Processible Waste means a portion of a Residential Fiber Load, Container Load, or Commercial Load that cannot be Processed : (a) due to its size; or (b) due to its physical or chemical composition; or (c) because it is inappropriate to Process such material in the RMPF.
