The Non-Repairable Covered Product must be returned in order to receive your replacement product.
Verification of filing the form with DMV (REG 488C Application for Salvage Certificate or Non-Repairable Vehicle Certificate, or REG 42 Notice of Acquisition/Report of Vehicle To Be Dismantled) must be provided to the District at the dismantle inspection.

In addition to all other amounts due under the Agreement, for each Non-Repairable Product that is an HTS Product subject to Seller’s “Craftsman lifetime warranty exchange” (or any successor lifetime program Seller offers on Craftsman products) Buyer will separately pay Seller, via a separate payment at the time of its purchase, an additional three percent (3%) on top of the invoice price charged to Buyer for such products (the “Lifetime Warranty Charge”).

If we determine that a Covered Product is not repairable due to unavailability of functional parts or technical information (a "Non-Repairable Covered Product") we will replace the Non-Repairable Covered Product with a comparable product.
