Public institution means any entity established or controlled by the federal government, state government, or a local government or municipality, including, but not limited, institutions of higher education and related research institutions.
Nonpublic Information means information which has not been disseminated in a manner making it available to investors generally, within the meaning of Regulation FD.

Designated Institution shall have the meaning specified in Section 14.12(a).
Covered institution means, on and after the Effective Date of its initial Management Agreement, a public institution of higher education of the Commonwealth of Virginia that has entered into a management agreement with the Commonwealth to be governed by the provisions of Subchapter 3 of the Act.

Nonpublic information means information that has not been publicly disclosed. Information about a company is considered to be nonpublic information if it is received under circumstances which indicate that it is not yet in general circulation.
Non-Public Information means material non-public information (within the meaning of United States federal, state or other applicable securities laws) with respect to Borrower or its Affiliates or their Securities.

Participating institution means an "institution" as defined in KRS 164.001 that actively participates in the federal Pell Grant program, executes a contract with the authority on terms the authority deems necessary or appropriate for the administration of its programs, and:
Public interest means that which is beneficial to the public as a whole, including but not limited to increasing competition among abstractors, encouraging the use of title guaranties throughout the state, making title guaranties more competitive than out-of-state title insurance, increasing the division’s market share, improving the quality of land titles, protecting consumers, and encouraging maximum participation by participating abstractors and participating attorneys physically located in all 99 counties. “Waiver” or “variance” means an action by the division which suspends in whole or in part the requirement of the use of a current tract index described in Iowa Code Supplement section 16.91(5) as
Public Information Act or “PIA” means Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code.
Nonpublic school means any school, church, or religious organization, or home school wherein a resident of Minnesota may legally fulfill the compulsory instruction requirements of Minn. Stat. §120A.22, which is located within the state, and which meets the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. § 2000d, et seq.). (Minn. Stat. §123B.41, Subd. 9)
MNPI means material information concerning the Borrower and the Subsidiaries and their securities that has not been disseminated in a manner making it available to investors generally, within the meaning of Regulation FD under the Securities Act and the Exchange Act.
Receiving Institution The college or university where a transfer student plans to enroll and to apply previously earned credit toward a degree program.
Qualifying Institution means the United States office of a commercial bank or trust company organized under the laws of the United States of America or a political subdivision thereof, or a foreign bank, having assets $10,000,000,000 (net of reserves) and a credit rating on its long-term senior unsecured debt of at least "A" from S&P and "A2" from Moody's.
Highly restricted personal information means an individual’s photograph or image, social security number, digitized signature, and medical and disability information.
Sending institution means the institution of higher education of most recent previous enrollment by a transfer student at which transferable academic credit was earned.
Submitting Institution An organization who submitted a genomic dataset to an NIH-designated data repository (e.g., dbGaP).
Private institution (“sefydliad preifat”) means an institution which is not publicly funded;
qualified institutional buyer" as defined in Rule 144A.

Biometric information means any information, regardless of how it is captured, converted, stored, or shared, based on an individual’s biometric identifier used to identify an individual. Biometric information does not include information derived from items or procedures excluded under the definition of biometric identifiers.
