Not sustain means to deny a request; to deny an appeal.

Sustained means - maintained continuously over a period of at least two school years. They will be able to demonstrate that their teaching expertise has grown over the relevant period and is consistently at least good.
Profits or “Losses” means, for each Fiscal Year or other taxable period, an amount equal to the Company’s taxable income or loss for such year or period, determined in accordance with Code Section 703(a) (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Code Section 703(a)(1) shall be included in taxable income or loss), with the following adjustments (without duplication):
Possess means to have physical possession or otherwise to exercise dominion or control over tangible property.
Consequential Loss means indirect or consequential loss or damage such as, but not limited to, loss of contract, bargain, expectation, opportunity, profit, production, revenue, anticipated cost reduction or interest payable howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with this Contract.
Loss or “Losses” means any and all losses, costs (including court costs), claims, damages (including fines, penalties, and criminal or civil judgments and settlements), injuries, liabilities and expenses (including attorneys’ fees).
Hold on any account maintained with Bank and/or deliver a notice of exclusive control, any entitlement order, or other directions or instructions pursuant to any Control Agreement or similar agreements providing control of any Collateral;
Other Business(es means any business activity we or our Affiliates engage in, other than the licensing of the Hotel.
Not-for-Profit Organization means a nonprofit corporation as defined in ORS 307.130.
Owner means the person in whose name American Depositary Shares are registered on the books of the Depositary maintained for that purpose.
Handle “handle,” “Handled,” “handled,” “Handling,” or “handling” shall mean any installation, handling, generation, storage, treatment, use, disposal, discharge, release, manufacture, refinement, presence, migration, emission, abatement, removal, transportation, or any other activity of any type in connection with or involving Hazardous Materials.
Maintain means to maintain and keep in good repair any part of the Natural Gas Distribution System;
Substantial damage means damage of any origin sustained by a structure whereby the cost of restoring the structure to its before damaged condition would equal or exceed 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the damage occurred.
Other Business has the meaning set forth in Section 6.6.
Indemnify means an undertaking to pay any damages, claim or taxed costs awarded by a court or agreed to by the municipality in terms of a formal settlement process;
Detriment means violence, injury, punishment, damage, loss or disadvantage.
Gains means, with respect to any Party, an amount equal to the present value of the economic benefit to it, if any (exclusive of Costs), as of the Early Termination Date resulting from the termination of this Agreement, expressed in dollars and determined in a commercially reasonable manner. Factors used in determining the gain of economic benefit to a Party may include:
UCITS means an undertaking for collective investment in transferable securities established pursuant to the UCITS Regulations;
Fund Affiliate shall include any person or entity that would be defined as an affiliated person under the 1940 Act.
Expense means any kind of cost, charge or expense (including all legal costs, charges and expenses) and any applicable value added or other tax;
Material Damage and “Materially damaged” means damage (w) resulting in the Property not complying with all legal requirements applicable to the Property, (x) reasonably exceeding $300,000 or (y) that entitles any tenant of the Property to terminate its Lease, or (z) which, in Buyer’s or Seller’s reasonable estimation, will take longer than 120 days to repair.
Not-for-Profit means that an organization receives compensation only for the reasonable costs of its operation, including reasonable compensation for products and services provided to Members to enable them to use Medical Cannabis pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 11362.7 et seq.; reasonable compensation for employees; reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred in providing those products or services, or both. Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses may include, but are not necessarily limited to, reasonable expenses for Member services and education, rent or mortgage, utilities, construction, furniture, maintenance, analytic testing, security, professional service costs, regulatory compliance costs, debt service, and reserves.
Losses shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5(a).
Sharing means the use by two or more persons, in an arrangement not involving resale, of a telecommunications service provided by a Telecommunications Provider.
reimburse /“reimbursement” means reimbursement by RAC under the reimbursement process;
Result means the result of performed Works which may contain, inter alia, Intellectual Property, or which by itself may be Intellectual Property.
Protect means taking measures to safeguard personally identifiable information and prevent its breach that are functionally equivalent to those called for in that OMB memorandum and elaborated on in the [federal] General Services Administration (GSA) Directive CIO P 2180.1 GSA Rules of Behavior for Handling Personally Identifiable Information.
