Note 14. The wage rates of overtime pay and pay for work on rest day/contractual day-off specified in the Tables under Clause 2 of this Schedule shall not be less than 100% of the wage rates calculated using the monthly wages specified in item (c) of the Tables under Clause 2 of this Schedule and the relevant number of normal working days plus paid rest days in the month and the average number of normal hours of work per day as specified in Note 13(ii).
Note 14. If the Employee is employed by the Employer to work under more than one government service contract in the same region, the names of all relevant procuring departments have to be filled in Clause 24 and Clause 25 of this employment contract. Note 15: Under section 9 of the Employment Ordinance, an employer may summarily dismiss an employee without notice or payment in lieu of notice: (i) if the employee, in relation to his/her employment, (a) wilfully disobeys a lawful and reasonable order; (b) misconducts himself/herself, such conduct being inconsistent with the due and faithful discharge of his/her duties; (c) is guilty of fraud or dishonesty; or (d) is habitually neglectful in his/her duties; or (ii) on any other ground on which he/she would be entitled to terminate the contract without notice at common law. Note 16: Under “extreme conditionscaused by typhoon, such as serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage, the Government will review the situation and decide whether to issue “extreme conditions” announcement before typhoon signal no. 8 is replaced with typhoon signal no. 3. Upon the announcement of “extreme conditions”, apart from employees who have an agreement with their employers to be on duty when the “extreme conditions” are in force, other employees are advised to stay in the place they are currently in or safe places for 2 hours after cancellation of typhoon signal no. 8. When “extreme conditions” are in force, the Government will review the situation and consider whether to extend “extreme conditions”. Once “extreme conditions” are cancelled, employees should follow the work arrangements they have agreed with employers and resume work. “Extreme conditions” are applicable territory-wide. Note 14. One person employed by the Harbor Department in the class of Senior Electrical Engineering Drafting Technician, Code 7209, when regularly assigned to supervise a drafting pool, shall receive salary at the second premium level rate above the appropriate step rate of the salary range prescribed for the class of Electrical Engineering Drafting Technician, Code 7532. Note 15: Persons employed in the classes of Transportation Investigator, Code 4271, and Senior Transportation Investigator, Code 4273, when performing field Bandit-Taxicab enforcement duties for more than 50% of any working day, shall be compensated for that day at the third premium level rate above the appropriate step rate for the position. This note shall expire on January 1, 2007. Upon said expiration employees shall no longer be entitled to receive the premium level conpensation described herein.

Note 14. Any person employed in the class and pay grade of Paralegal II, Code 0577 in the Office of the City Attorney, who has been in this classification for a minimum of ten (10) years and who is assigned specialized higher level tasks or special projects, shall receive a daily bonus of $25 for each day so assigned. This daily bonus shall cease upon completion of the higher level task.   • Note 1 Released Capacity" shall include all transactions which involve the use of gas transportation capacity rights, storage rights or similar off-system rights or assets owned by SCE&G, but only if the cost of those rights or assets is borne by firm gas customers in South Carolina. "Net value received" shall mean the gross compensation received from the "released capacity" transactions, less all transportation charges, taxes or other governmental charges, brokerage fees or commissions, or other costs or charges related to the transaction, including all costs incurred in purchasing natural gas supplies that form part of the transaction.

  • Note 2 The accrual of seniority and service for nurses on pregnancy and parental leave applies to both full-time and part-time nurses.

  • Convertible Note Indenture means the Indenture dated as of February 21, 2014 between Emergent and the Convertible Note Trustee pursuant to which the Convertible Notes were issued.
