Office of the Corporation means the executive office of the Corporation, anything in Section 131 of the General Corporation Law to the contrary notwithstanding.
Comptroller means the Comptroller of the City of New York.
State department means the state department of human services.
the Department means the Department of the Environment;
Comptroller General ’ means the Comptroller General of the United States;
Finance Department means, the Finance Department of the Government of Assam;
OCC means the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
U.S. Department of Energy means the Department of Energy established by Public Law 95-91, August 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 565, 42 U.S.C. 7101 et seq., to the extent that the department exercises functions formerly vested in the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, its chairman, members, officers, and components and transferred to the U.S. Energy Research and Development Administration and to the administrator thereof pursuant to sections 104(b), (c), and (d) of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-438, October 11, 1974, 88 Stat. 1233 at 1237, effective January 19, 1975) and retransferred to the Secretary of Energy pursuant to section 301(a) of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Public Law 95-91, August 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 565 at 577-578, 42 U.S.C. 7151, effective October 1, 1977).
Comptroller’s Rules means the applicable rules and regulations of the Comptroller set forth in Chapter 34 TEXAS ADMIN. CODE Chapter 9, Subchapter F, together with any court or administrative decisions interpreting same.
Head of the Department means the administrative head of the department or the organization;
Attorney General means the Attorney General of the State.
State superintendent means the state superintendent of public instruction.
Appropriate office of the State employment service system means the local office of the federal-state national system or public employment offices with assigned responsibility for serving the area where the employment opening is to be filled, including the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
District superintendent means the superintendent of a district or the chief administrator of a public school academy.
Office of the Governor means the Governor; his chief of staff, counsel, director of policy, Cabinet
Compliance Department means the Chief Compliance Officer of Federated and those other individuals designated by him or her as responsible for implementing this Code and the Associated Procedures.
Fire Department means an organized fire department as that term is defined in section 1 of the fire prevention code, 1941 PA 207, MCL 29.1.
Health Department means the department of environmental quality, a city health department, a county health department, or a district health department, whichever has jurisdiction.
