On-call Staff definition

On-call Staff means the staff members who are assigned to be on call by the Water Treatment Plant Operator and/or the Senior Sewage Treatment Plant Operator and/or Director of Operations or as otherwise provided by this policy and who are responsible to respond to and correct water or wastewater facility problems promptly during periods of time in which the main office is not open for business. On-call staff must be available to take emergency calls and respond in a timely fashion.
