Online bidding definition

Online bidding is a process of bidding in a public auction where registered Online Bidders can bid online from anywhere via a computer, smart phone or any device with internet connection without having to appear in the auction venue.
Online bidding means an electronic procurement process in which state agencies receive bids from vendors for goods, services, construction, or information services over the Internet or other electronic medium in a real-time, competitive bidding event.
