Open-air cafe definition

Open-air cafe means a permanent-type restaurant, meeting all of the requirements of this code, which has an outside dining area at the same location, in conjunction with the restaurant with indoor seating.

  • U.S.-flag air carrier means an air carrier holding a certificate under 49 U.S.C. Chapter 411.

  • U.S. Air Carrier means any United States air carrier that is a Citizen of the United States holding an air carrier operating certificate issued by the Secretary of Transportation pursuant to chapter 447 of title 49 of the United States Code for aircraft capable of carrying 10 or more individuals or 6000 pounds or more of cargo, and as to which there is in force an air carrier operating certificate issued pursuant to Part 121 of the FAA Regulations, or which may operate as an air carrier by certification or otherwise under any successor or substitute provisions therefor or in the absence thereof.

  • Foreign Air Carrier means any air carrier which is not a U.S. Air Carrier and which performs maintenance, preventative maintenance and inspections for the Aircraft, Airframe and/or any Engine or engine to standards which are approved by, or which are substantially equivalent to those required by, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom, the Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile of the French Republic, the Luftfahrt Bundesamt of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Rijflauchtraatdienst of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Ministry of Transportation of Japan or the Federal Ministry of Transport of Canada (and any agency or instrumentality of the applicable government succeeding to the functions of any of the foregoing entities).

  • air carrier means any air conveyance operating under a valid license for the transportation of passengers for hire.

  • Private sewage disposal system means a system which provides for the treatment or disposal of domestic sewage from four or fewer dwelling units or the equivalent of less than sixteen individuals on a continuing basis.
