Order to Work definition

Order to Work means the written notice issued by the Commissioner specifying the time for commencement of the Work under a Work Order.
Order to Work means a document instructing the construction contractor involved with the Project to commence the performance of the Work, as defined by the City of New York Standard Construction Contract.

Related to Order to Work

  • Statement of Work means the description of activities performed in completing the Project, as specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Technical Specifications A specification in a document defining the characteristics of a product or a service, such as the quality levels, the environmental and climate performance levels, the design for all needs, including accessibility for people with disabilities, and the evaluation of conformity, of product performance, of the use of the product, safety or dimensions, as well as requirements applicable to the product as regards the name by which it is sold, terminology, symbols, testing and test methods, packaging, marking or labelling, instructions for use, the production processes and methods at every stage in the life cycle of the supply or service, as well as the evaluation and conformity procedures;

  • technical specification means a document that prescribes technical requirements to be fulfilled by a product, process or service;

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • Acceptance Tests means those tests performed during the Performance Period which are intended to determine compliance of Equipment and Software with the specifications and all other Attachments incorporated herein by reference and to determine the reliability of the Equipment.

  • Tests after Completion means the tests (if any) which are specified in the Contract and which are carried out in accordance with the Specification after the Works or a Section (as the case may be) are taken over by the Procuring Entity.

  • Completion of work means completion of the entire contracted work. Exhaustion of quantity of any particular item mentioned in the bid document shall not imply completion of work or any component thereof.

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.

  • Purchase Order (PO) means a written offer made by a purchaser to a supplier formally stating the terms and conditions of a proposed transaction.

  • Standard Specifications means a compilation in book form of specifica- tions approved for general application and repetitive use;

  • Change Orders mean changes or modifications to any Construction Contract or any other contract with labor or material suppliers.

  • Submittals means all shop drawings, diagrams, illustrations, brochures, schedules, samples, and other data which are prepared by the Contractor, a Subcontractor, manufacturer, Supplier, or distributor, which illustrate how specific portions of the Work shall be fabricated or installed.

  • Scope of Work means the description of Services and Deliverables specified in the Contract and as may be amended.

  • Acceptance Testing mean the tests, reviews and other activities that are performed by or on behalf of Agency to determine whether the Deliverables meet the Acceptance Criteria or otherwise satisfy the Agency, as determined by the Agency in its sole discretion.

  • General Conditions means the “International Development Association General Conditions for Credits and Grants”, dated July 1, 2005 (as amended through October 15, 2006).

  • Acceptance Test is a test of the Features executed by the Customer to prepare the acceptance.

  • Busy Line Verification (BLV means a service whereby an End User requests an operator to confirm the busy status of a line.

  • Contract Specifications means the principal trading terms in CFD (for example Spread, Swaps, Lot Size, Initial Margin, Necessary Margin, Hedged Margin, the minimum level for placing Stop Loss, Take Profit and Limit Orders, financing charges, charges etc) for each type of CFD as determined by the Company from time to time.   • Contract Schedule The list (as such list may be amended from time to time) identifying each Contract constituting part of the corpus of the Trust Fund as of the Cut-off Date, and which (a) identifies each Contract as either a Fixed Rate Contract or Adjustable Rate Contract and by contract number and name and address of the Obligor and (b) sets forth as to each Contract (i) the unpaid principal balance as of the related Transfer Date determined by giving effect to payments received prior to the related Transfer Date, (ii) the amount of each scheduled payment due from the Obligor, and (iii) the APR.

  • Construction Phase means that Phase of the Project which shall commence after the Authority provides the Trade Contractor with written Notice to Proceed with the Construction Phase.

  • Design Phase means the period during which the Transporter shall prepare a draft project proposal for publication in accordance with section 4.3;

  • health and safety specification means a site, activity or project specific document prepared by the client pertaining to all health and safety requirements related to construction work;

  • Contract Drawings means only those drawings specifically entitled as such and listed in the Specifications or in any Addendum, or any drawings furnished by the Commissioner, pertaining or supplemental thereto.

  • Brand Name or Equal Specification means a specification which uses one or more manufacturer’s names or catalogue numbers to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet District requirements, and which provides for the submission of equivalent products.
