organic control authority definition

organic control authority means a public administrative organisation for organic production and labelling of organic products of a Member State to which the competent authorities have conferred, in whole or in part, their competences in relation to the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/20071, including, where appropriate, the corresponding authority of a third country or operating in a third country;

  • Control authority means the commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
