Organizations means entities, and the individuals that work for them, that provide services, or seek to provide services, to individual clients through the Adviser’s relationship with the client. Examples include brokers, consultants, companies that the Adviser researches for possible investment, and companies in which the Adviser invests for client accounts.
Nonprofit organization means a university or other institution of higher education or an organization of the type described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. 501(c) and exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code (25 U.S.C. 501(a)) or any nonprofit scientific or educational organization qualified under a state nonprofit organization statute.
Qualified nonprofit organization means, with respect to a Project, an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c) (3) or (4) of the Internal Revenue Code, which is not and during the Compliance Period will not be affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization, whose exempt purposes include the fostering of low income housing, which owns an interest in the Project, which will materially participate in the development and operation of the Project throughout the Compliance Period, and which is not affiliated with or controlled by a for-profit organization.
Certification of Incorporation means the restated certificate of incorporation of the Corporation, as it may be amended from time to time, and shall include this Certificate of Designations.
Charitable organization means a charitable organization as described by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as in effect from time to time.
Organization means a person other than an individual.
Organizational Unit means a Laboratory School or any
Lead organization means a trade organization, labor organization or other incorporated entity representing a group of businesses that is the applicant for a business network project.
Religious organization means a church, ecclesiastical corporation, or group, not organized for pecuniary profit, that gathers for mutual support and edification in piety or worship of a supreme deity.
Financial organization means any bank, trust company, savings bank, industrial bank, land bank, safe deposit company, private banker, savings and loan association, credit union, cooperative bank, small loan company, sales finance company, investment company, or any type of insurance company.
Organizational Expenses has the meaning set forth in Section 4.2(b).
Parent organization means the Insured Organization first named in Item I of the Declarations.
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) means a health insurance issuer's or carrier's insurance policy that offers covered health care services provided by a network of providers who are contracted with the issuer or carrier (“in-network”) and providers who are not part of the provider network (“out-of-network”).
Member organization means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, or association that belongs to an association.
Procurement organization means an eye bank, organ procurement organization, or tissue bank.
Organizational Limited Partner means Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxx.
Provider Organization means a group practice, facility, or organization that is:
Educational organization means a nonprofit public or private elementary or
Tribal organization means the elected governing body of any Indian tribe or any legally established organization of Indians that is controlled by one or more such bodies or by a board of directors elected or selected by one or more such bodies (or elected by the Indian population to be served by such organization) and that includes the maximum participation of Indians in all phases of its activities; and
Domestic organization means an organization created under the laws of this state.
Organizational Conflict of Interest means that because of other activities or relationships with other persons, a person is unable or potentially unable to render impartial assistance or advice to the Government, or the person's objectivity in performing the contract work is or might be otherwise impaired, or a person has an unfair competitive advantage. "Person" as used herein includes Corporations, Partnerships, Joint Ventures, and other business enterprises.
Community-based organization means a public or private nonprofit organization that is representative of a community or a significant segment of a community, and is engaged in meeting human, educational, environmental, or public safety community needs.
Student organization means a group, club or organization having students as its primary members or participants. It includes grade levels, classes, teams, activities or particular school events. A student organization does not have to be an official school organization to come within the terms of this definition.
