Outpatient Facility Fee definition

Outpatient Facility Fee means hospital outpatient charges approved by the Commission for outpatient clinic services commonly understood to be non-emergent and non-surgical use of hospital facilities, supplies and equipment, including but not limited to the services of nonphysician clinicians, in addition to physician fees billed for professional services provided at the hospital.

Related to Outpatient Facility Fee

  • Applicable Facility Fee means the percentage set forth in the table below corresponding to the Level at which the “Applicable Margin” is determined in accordance with the definition thereof: 1 0.100 % 2 0.125 % 3 0.150 % 4 0.200 % 5 0.250 % 6 0.300 % Any change in the applicable Level at which the Applicable Margin is determined shall result in a corresponding and simultaneous change in the Applicable Facility Fee. The provisions of this definition shall be subject to Section 2.5.(c).

  • Skilled Nursing Facility means an institution or part thereof that is licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the State of Florida, and is accredited as a Skilled Nursing Facility by The Joint Commission or recognized as a Skilled Nursing Facility by the Secretary of Health and Human Services of the United States under Medicare.

  • Outpatient means a person who is receiving care other than on an inpatient basis, such as: • in a provider’s office; • in an ambulatory surgical center or facility; • in an emergency room; or • in a clinic. .

  • Nursing facility means an institution as defined in Iowa Code chapter 135C. This definition does not include acute care settings.

  • Facility Fee has the meaning specified in Section 2.09(a).
