Overtime Distribution definition

Overtime Distribution. Overtime shall first be distributed and rotated as equally as is practical among employees in the bargaining unit within each department at each site, considering skills necessary.
Overtime Distribution. Overtime work and projects shall be assigned on the basis of a seniority rotation starting with the primary classification, at the work site or department, whichever applies, provided the unit member has the skill and ability to perform the assigned task. When possible, before requesting a unit member to work overtime, the supervisor will provide the unit member five (5) work days’ notice in advance of the assignment.

Examples of Overtime Distribution in a sentence

  • The extra-duty assignment will then be distributed to the highest available position on the Overtime Distribution List.

  • All officers eligible for extra-duty overtime shall be listed on an Overtime Distribution List, with the most senior member of the department on top and the least senior member on the bottom.

  • Officers not assigned an extra-duty assignment will maintain their position on the Overtime Distribution List, regardless of their response or lack of response.

  • Upon determining there is a need to fill an extra-duty assignment, the extra-duty assignment will be distributed to all officers on the Overtime Distribution List, via e-mail and/or text message from the designated department e-mail address (OT DESK).

  • For extra duty opportunities outside of specific patrol, or CID shifts, the department shall maintain an “Overtime Distribution List.” Each hourly sworn officer on the department shall be listed on the Overtime Distribution List.

  • The extra-duty assignment will be noted on the Overtime Distribution List.

  • The Overtime Distribution List will maintain six (6) columns of eligibility, representing six (6) opportunities for overtime before the list resets.

  • On February 1 of each year, the Overtime Distribution List for each shift’s hours shall be adjusted to zero but the current ranking of individuals from the previous year’s overtime distribution list shall remain the same.

  • After the bid process has been completed and the individual receives their assignment they shall be placed on the Overtime Distribution List according to seniority and credited with the amount of hours that will place them 16th on the list.

  • The Overtime Distribution List shall be arranged and maintained according to number of hours worked/offered, lowest to highest.

Related to Overtime Distribution

  • Income Distribution shall be calculated as set forth in subparagraph (A), below, unless the Prospectus provides for the averaging of income distributions, in which case, "Income Distribution" shall be shall be calculated as set forth in subparagraph (B), below. Accordingly, the Unitholder's "Income Distribution" shall be equal to:

  • Wholesale distribution means distribution of prescription drugs to persons other than consumers or

  • Incentive Distributions means any amount of cash distributed to the holders of the Incentive Distribution Rights pursuant to Section 6.4.

  • Pre-Distribution Period means any Tax Period ending on or before the Distribution Date, and, in the case of any Straddle Period, the portion of such Straddle Period ending on the Distribution Date.

  • Distribution Service means the delivery of electricity to Customers by the Distribution Company.
