Pay on Foot definition
Pay on Foot. , means a system of payment for parking of motor vehicles used at car parks that are not pay and display car parks;
Pay on Foot means for a Parking Place where payment of the tariff is made by means of receiving a ticket/token on entering the Car Park which is held by the Driver until such time as the driver returns to depart from the parking place. Payment is then made of the amount due for the period of time that the Motor Vehicle has been within the parking place. Upon receipt by the Council of the due amount, the ticket will be validated for exit from the Car Park.
Pay on Foot or ”pay on exit” means a parking place where a ticket is issued by a ticket machine located at the entrance to a parking place, the ticket is retained by the vehicle user and not displayed, and then the relevant charge is paid as required on site when returning to the vehicle or exiting the parking place;
