Pay Option definition

Pay Option. A teacher may be assigned to cover an additional classroom section of students for a partial or entire day. If a teacher is assigned to cover an additional classroom section, the teacher, at their option, will be paid their pro-rata hourly rate, or portion thereof. If a classroom section is split, the teachers assigned will divide the hours of the assignment and will be paid their pro-rata hourly rate or portion thereof. Effective beginning 2012-2013, this Pay Option shall be the sole option for teachers assigned to cover an additional classroom section of students.

Examples of Pay Option in a sentence

  • Late Payment Unless you follow the terms of the Defer Pay Option (See Defer Pay Option (Extra Days to Pay) in Part 2 of this Agreement): $39 or 1.5% of the amount unpaid, whichever is greater, if you do not pay the entire Amount Due shown on your billing statement before the next Closing Date.

  • Bargaining unit members may select the Year-Round Pay Option if they want to receive pay during summer months.

  • Aptose hereby represents and warrants to CG that, as of the Execution Date, Aptose has not entered into any agreement or arrangement with a Third Party that impairs Aptose’s ability to assign any Data pursuant to Aptose’s obligations under Sections 2.6 (Effects of Aptose’s Failure to Pay Option Grant Fee), 3.9 (Effects of Aptose’s Failure to Exercise Option) and 12.4 (Results of Termination), and any other similar provisions in this Agreement.

  • Such election shall be made by submitting to his supervisor the Faculty Pay Option form (Appendix E) no later than the first day of the Fall Term each year.
