Peer support services definition

Peer support services means a program provided by a peer support specialist including but not limited to education and information, individual advocacy, family support groups, crisis response, and respite to assist individuals in achieving stability in the community.
Peer support services means a set of non-clinical activities provided by individuals in recovery from mental health or substance-related and addictive disorders who use their personal, lived experiences and training to support other individuals with mental health or substance-related and addictive disorders.
