Penetrations definition

Penetrations means the square footage of the areas within (and measured from the mid-point of the walls enclosing) the Building stairs, fire towers, elevator shafts, flues, vents, stacks, pipe shafts, vertical ducts and other vertical penetrations. Areas for the specific use of Tenant and installed at the request of Tenant such as special stairs or elevators are not included within the definition of Penetrations and, such areas will be included in the relevant Useable Area.

  • Penetrations for all mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work will be core drilled.

  • Section 1705.16: Special inspections shall be in accordance with IBC Sections 1705.16 through 1705.16.1 16 Fire-Resistant Penetrations and Joints – Section 1705.17: Special inspections shall be in accordance with IBC Sections 1705.17 through 1705.

  • Penetrations required by the installation of PV System as detailed in the Specifications shall not be considered roof damage.

  • Penetrations through and/or attachments to roof structures must have prior written approval from Landlord and comply with all of Landlord's roof specifications and installation procedures.

  • Penetrations not shown on the plans provided to FRR prior to submittal of this proposal or required after installation of roofing shall be considered an order for extra work, and FRR shall be compensated at its customary time and material rates for additional expense resulting from additional penetrations.

Related to Penetrations

  • Penetrant means a lubricant designed and labeled primarily to loosen metal parts that have bonded together due to rusting, oxidation, or other causes. “Penetrant” does not include “Multi-purpose Lubricants” that claim to have penetrating qualities, but are not labeled primarily to loosen bonded parts.

  • Roof means a non-porous cover for a structure such as (by way of example and not limitation) Lexan barriers or shingles but not a shade trellis, ivy or other open or porous material that may also be used as a cover.

  • Penetration Testing means security testing in which assessors mimic real-world attacks to identify methods for circumventing the security features of an application, system, or network. (NIST SP 800-115)

  • Sexual penetration means vaginal intercourse, cunnilingus, fellatio, or anal intercourse between persons or insertion of the hand, finger, or object into the anus or vagina either by the actor or upon the actor's instruction. The depth of insertion shall not be relevant to the question of commission of the crime;

  • Installations means all property of any kind paid for by Landlord, all Alterations, all fixtures, and all partitions, hardware, built-in machinery, built-in casework and cabinets and other similar additions, equipment, property and improvements built into the Premises so as to become an integral part of the Premises, including, without limitation, fume hoods which penetrate the roof or plenum area, built-in cold rooms, built-in warm rooms, walk-in cold rooms, walk-in warm rooms, deionized water systems, glass washing equipment, autoclaves, chillers, built-in plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, and any power generator and transfer switch.
