Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;
Distribution Service means the delivery of electricity to Customers by the Distribution Company.
pensionable service means service which may be taken into account in computing pension under these Regulations;
Eligibility Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his eligibility to participate in the Plan as may be required under Article III or Article VI.

Toll Free Service is service provided with any dialing sequence that invokes toll-free, 800-like, service processing, for example for illustration only, 800 or 800-like services. Toll Free Service includes but is not limited to calls placed to 800/888 NPA Service Access Codes (SAC).
air service means a flight or a series of flights carrying passengers, cargo and/or mail for remuneration and/or hire;
flight information service means a service provided for the purpose of giving advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights;
related service means the services incidental to the supply of the Goods, such as transportation, insurance, installation, training and initial maintenance and other such obligations of the Supplier under the Contract.
Transportation Service means a service for moving people and goods, such as intercity bus service and passenger rail service.
Active Service means a Covered Person is either 1) actively at work performing all regular duties at his or her employer’s place of business or someplace the employer requires him or her to be; 2) employed, but on a scheduled holiday, vacation day, or period of approved paid leave of absence; or 3) if not employed, able to engage in substantially all of the usual activities of a person in good health of like age and sex and not confined in a Hospital or rehabilitation or rest facility.
Police Service ’ means the South African Police Service established in terms of section 5(1) of the South African Police Service Act;
Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.
