Permit or license definition

Permit or license means a document issued pursuant to Tribal or Federal law, including but not limited to this Chapter and the Clean Water Act, which specifies the treatment and control requirements and other conditions that apply to discharges to Regulated Surface Waters.
Permit or license means license as defined by section 4-166 of the General Statutes;
Permit or license means the document issued by the Department that authorizes a person to operate an establishment. The words "permit" and "license" as used throughout this chapter shall be interchangeable.
