Permit to Operate definition

Permit to Operate or “permit” means any District authority to operate, such as a Permit to Operate, Certificate of Registration, Title V or Synthetic Minor Source permit, unless otherwise specified.
Permit to Operate means the written permission, with any specified conditions required, that must be obtained from the Control Officer before any article, machine, equipment or other contrivance, the use of which may cause, increase, eliminate, reduce, or control the issuance of air contaminants before it may be operated or used.
Permit to Operate means authorization to operate an emission unit or combination of emission units as specified and issued by the Air Pollution Control Officer on a form or forms prescribed by the Air Pollution Control Officer. Unless otherwise specified, the term permit to operate refers to permits issued pursuant to this regulation.

More Definitions of Permit to Operate

Permit to Operate means a Permit to Operate, Maintain and Use a State Highway Approach including all required signatures and attachments, and conditions and terms. A Permit to Operate is not required for a public approach however the Department may issue a Permit to Operate for a public approach upon agreement with the governing city or county.
Permit to Operate means a permit issued by the Department upon evaluation and approval of the Resident Camp facility.
Permit to Operate means a document, which may be electronic, issued by the department authorizing the operation of an elevator, kindred equipment, or an amusement ride.
