Personal License definition

Personal License means a license designed for an individual and is based on the following principles. The access to the Software will be restricted to the specific individual to whom the license have been validly granted under this Agreement. In no event the Software may be used by anybody else than the respective individual. The Personal License shall be a worldwide license, provided that all the aforesaid limitations must be complied with for the entire term of the license.
Personal License is defined as a license that grants the Licensee the right to install and run the Software on one designated computer with a single Operating System by one user at a time.
Personal License. The Customer has the right to use the Software on one domain, subdomain or blog for personal, educational or any other non- commercial purpose.

  • A Personal License is not transferable from one computer to another without Re-hosting.

  • Alcohol may only be sold by a Personal License Holder who holds a Temporary Events Notice (TEN).


More Definitions of Personal License

Personal License means a license is the individual specified in development and runtime license key.
Personal License means a Named User License that is used by a natural person, not a corporation, company, partnership or association or other entity or organisation. Release means a Major, Minor, or Patch Release. Response Time means the time during the Support Hours that elapses between the Supplier’s actual receipt of a Support Ticket issued by the Customer, and the commencement of Maintenance Services by the Supplier as defined in Section 7. Service Provider Interface means the programming interface specifying how a third party computer program interacts with the Software to use predefined functions of the Software. Severity Level means the level of priority the Customer assigns to a Support Ticket. The Severity Levels include the following types of Defects: Critical, Major and Minor. Software means the computer program jOOQ in the current version and any new Releases thereof. Subscription Fee means the fee Customer pays for the use of the Software pursuant to Section 6 and for the Maintenance Services. Subscription Period means the duration of validity of this Agreement. Support Hours mean the daily time period the Maintenance Services are available to the Customer. Support Ticket means the notification of the request for a Maintenance Service issued by the Customer such as the notification of a Defect. In the absence of a Ticketing System, Customer may request for a Maintenance Service through E-Mail at ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇. Ticketing System is a third party software maintained by the Supplier used by the Customer to create Maintenance Service requests with associated Severity Levels. Work Product is any work result of the Maintenance Services, such as new Releases, documents, information and improvements developed or created in the performance of the Maintenance Services. Workaround means a way of circumventing a Defect without actually fixing it within the source code. A Workaround is mitigating the effect of the Defect, so that the user can use the Software reasonably. Working Days mean the locally recognized working days in Zurich (Switzerland) (excluding locally recognized public and bank holidays). Workstation means a computer onto which the Software was installed or copied by the Customer and which is used to run the Software.
Personal License means a personal, nonexclusive, worldwide license to use the Wavefield Image Technology for (i) analysis of seismic data as a service to third parties subject to the limitations below and (ii) analysis of seismic data from properties in which Employee has at least a twenty-five percent (25%) interest in the property or mineral rights or in the entity owning the property or mineral rights. If the licensed rights are used to provide services to third parties, such services may only be rendered in exchange for payment in cash and not in exchange for a property or royalty interest or any other form of consideration unless consented to in writing; provided further, Employee may not in any one year sell an amount of such services the "Net Price" of which exceeds One Million Dollars ($1,000,000). "Net Price" shall mean the gross price Employee charges for the service less any costs of required computer processing time included in the gross price. The Company shall be entitled to audit Employee's books and records relating to the sale of services and use of the licensed technology to confirm compliance with the restrictions herein. In addition to the foregoing limitations, whenever Employee desires to exercise its rights under (ii) above, it shall first notify the Company in writing of the country or U.S. state in which the property is located. If the Company is currently involved in a project using the Wavefield Image Technology (a "Project"), or is considering in good faith to commence a Project within one year of such notice, in such country or U.S. state, Employee may not exercise the licensed rights in such country or U.S. state unless the Company consents in writing. The Personal License shall not include the right to sublicense, assign or otherwise transfer, directly or indirectly, the licensed rights to any other person. The Personal License shall automatically terminate upon the earlier of Employee's breach of any of the license restrictions or his death. Within sixty (60) days of Employee's exercise of the foregoing option, the parties shall execute a license agreement memorializing the Personal License. Such license agreement shall include such other terms as are customary for such agreements.
